Strawberry Matcha Dalgona
This springtime drink is based on the Boba Guys strawberry matcha latte with a few alterations. It refreshing, cool and not too sweet so feel free to add more sugar if you like your drinks very sweet.
Ingredients
1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 tsp of matcha- ceremonial rather than culinary grade is best for this
2 tbs + 1tbs of sugar- I used unrefined cane sugar but anything is fine
3-4 large strawberries
1 tbs of water
1 cup of any sort of milk- I used almond
1.) Cut your strawberries into large chunks
2.) Add your tablespoon of water, strawberries, and 2 tbs sugar to a saucepan and cook for around five to seven minutes stirring occasionally and mashing the strawberries with a wooden spoon.
3.)Pour the strawberries into a glass and put in the fridge to cool.
4.) While the berries are cooling add the remaining sugar and whipping cream in a medium-sized bowl, whip until the texture is that of whipped cream with either a whisk or whisk attachment.
5.) Sprinkle the matcha on the whipped cream and then continue whipping until fully combined.
6.) Add the milk into the glass with the strawberries then top with your matcha dalgona and enjoy with a boba straw!
